Malinda Hall
(Discovery Motion Tap & Ballet)
-
Mrs. Malinda began dancing at age 6 at the YWCA and later at Dian' Dance World. She was a performer with the Goforth Dancers for many years. One highlight of that time was when she danced at West Point Military Academy for the cadets and officer's wives. While at Dian's Mrs. Malinda taught students in clogging, jazz, tap and ballet. In college she started dancing at Danceworks and later taught tap and creative movement to students ages 3-6. Mrs. Malinda had the honor of working with George Lucas on the TV show "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles" as well as performing in local theater as a choreographer and featured dancer. Mrs. Malinda and her daughters joined the TIM family in 2005 and are thankful for all the fun and friends they have made during their time here. Mrs. Malinda is currently a teacher in New Hanover County Schools where she has been employed since 1996. Mrs. Malinda began teaching at TIM in the fall of 2006 and is very excited about returning to the dance school as a teacher and looking forward to working with everyone in the Techniques family.
