20 year old Melodye is a Wilmington, NC native and began dancing at Techniques in Motion at the age of 7. She has had training in various styles of dancing from Tap and Pointe to Modern and Hula. With TIM studio she was given the opportunity to perform for several fundraisers such as: The Hokie Spirit Scholarship Fund and for the Domestic Violence Shelter. Though dancing is her favorite sport, She loves many other activites such as: fishing, surfing, snowboarding and anything outside. Aside from all of her activites, She has recently graduated from The Airline Academy where she majored in Travel and Tourism and was Valedictorian of her class with a 4.0 GPA. It was a very challenging and exhausting experience, yet she knows it will only benefit her in a future career. Melodye has loved dancing ever since she could walk and it will always be a part of her life !!
