Spring Recital Event is the highlight of the Year!! All T.I.M. Dancers of
ALL ages Perform in Recital.

All outstanding Balances must be paid in full no later than May 30 in order
for dancer to participate in Spring Recital Event.
ALL EVENTS below TAKE PLACE @ Kenan Auditorium UNCW campus June 2nd-6th.

A Recital Handbook will be distributed with costumes.PLEASE READ
Mandatory Dress Stage Rehearsal: Since dancer is performing in recital
programs they must attended mandatory stage dress rehearsal. Classes must
attended designated dress rehearsal in order to participate in recital
event.

Spring Recital STAGE DRESS Rehearsal: "From Studio To Stage". The dress
rehearsal allows the students to become familiar with the auditorium
surroundings, stage and to feel comfortable with their performance and
costume (s). Possible lighting, music cues, set changes, blocking and all
other logistics for an organized and professional performance are rehearsed
so that everyone involved make the best impression. We request your patience
with all dancers because some of the youngest performers may need to run
dances more than once to insure they feel comfortable & know their marks on
stage.

Dress Rehearsal Schedule: Tight schedule! Please arrive ON TIME! Routines
and/or performances will be rehearsed in the same order as the show that
each particular student is in. Please arrive on time and dressed in first
costume so we may run rehearsals on time. If student is not prepared on time
to rehearse we will have no choice but to rehearse without them and we may
not have time to practice again. All rehearsals & recitals will take place
also at Kenan Auditorium. Please refer to Recital Program section of this

Participation in full dress rehearsal is MANDATORY to participate in recital
event. All performers should attend dress rehearsal in full costume,
accessories, tights, shoes, hair & make-up. We run an organized and timely
dress rehearsal; your assistance with this process will guarantee a
professional recital program. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to rehearsal
times. Students may arrive in their first performance costume or may change
in the dressing room. Upon arrival please remain seated in auditorium
throughout announcements.

Dancer may observe from the auditorium but must be in back stage area at
least 4 numbers prior to stage time so the studio assistants may organize
them for stage time. AT REHEARSAL ONLY Dancers will be called to the back
stage area 3-4 numbers prior to their on stage performance. Routines will be
rehearsed in the order of the program and/or programs. Parents or Guardians
will be asked to bring dancers to the back stage area & leave dancers with
the assistants. Back stage space is limited so we ask that the dancers are
left with us and you may return to your seat to enjoy their performance.
Upon completion of rehearsal time on stage we ask the parents to return to
back stage area to retrieve your dancer. This also gives the dancer an
opportunity to enjoy the recital as well. Unless you are changing a dancer
for their next performance parents are not needed in backstage area. There
is a lot of activity backstage in a limited space. Please adhere to this
rule!!!. We ask that all parents & guardians rely on our expertise in
handling the dancers backstage. Your children are fine with the studio
assistants and us. Only dance teachers and class assistants are allowed
backstage and in the wings of stage. This rule is a safety precaution for
all of the performers! Those who wish to greet a performer after the show or
rehearsal or to present flowers should do so in lobby area. After last
rehearsal time the performers are free to leave. Company dancers will NOT be
rehearsing.

Recital Tickets & Free Year of Dance Tickets: Tickets are MANDATORY for
entry into recital programs. No tickets will be distributed after rehearsal.
Any person of any age, including performer requiring a seat at any given
point in any recital show WILL NEED A TICKET in observation of the
auditorium rules. Five tickets are distributed with dance costume. The
number of tickets printed is the exact number of seats available in
auditorium. The $20.00 recital fee (per dancer) due in March of each year
helps us to rent the auditorium. This fee also allows each family an
unlimited number of admission & "Free Year of Dance" tickets (as long as
supplies last-first come first serve basis). The tickets go very fast so
reserve extra tickets at front desk or you may email your ticket requests:
