Her routines and dancers have been awarded regional & national honors for choreography, dance spirit, overall placements, grand championships, etc. In 1993 Ms. Terrie opened Techniques In Motion School of Dance. She attributes her teaching techniques, ethics and values to the traditional styles of Mrs. Betty Baldwin and in the most recent years to the styles of Mike Minery, Christopher Smith and Anthony LoCascio. She continues to gain enthusiasm and passion for her teaching from the importance of making a positive difference in her student's lives, being a role model and mentor and to the blessings of family, friends, past, current and future students and their families. Ms. Terrie is proud of her son Kameron King, who is one of twelve college students chosen from hundreds of UNC-G students to participate in the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida this year and thousands applied from across the world!
