Monthly Tuition Payments & Fees
All checks or Money orders must be made payable to “Techniques In Motion School of Dance”. A stamp is provided at front desk for your convenience. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. There is a $20.00 fee for returned checks and/or if check is dishonored or returned for any reason.
Registration fee is non-refundable. No exceptions. Registration Fee $30 per student (Enroll between August-December), Registration fee per student $25 ( Enroll between January-May).
Registration fees include administrative cost, insurance, monthly newsletter printing, etc.
Summer Session June-July Registration fee: $20 per student
Tuition rates
- “Carte Blanche” TUITION RATE UNLIMITED CLASSES EACH WEEK: For $204.00 per month enroll in any and all recreational dance classes offered.
- 1.5 hour classes: $108.00 per month per element
- 1 hour classes: $59.00 per month per element
- 45 minute classes: $54.00 per month per element
- 30 minute classes: $49.00 per month per element
Monthly Studio Tuition is due the first lesson of each month and is not prorated for missed lessons or for holiday closing or class attendance. Each tuition payment is the same regardless of the amount of lessons in a given month. Whether we have a short month (3 weeks) or a long month (5 weeks), tuition remains the same. There are no adjustments, deductions for vacations or short months or missed lessons. Monthly tuition reminders will be sent to all studio families via email. Statements will also be sent via email or regular mail to those past due accounts. If tuition is two months past due the student will not be allowed to participate in class until account is paid in full. Payments may be mailed, deposited in the payment box located in the lobby or paid to receptionist. Please indicate student’s name on the payment especially if dancer’s last name is not the same as the parents. Please attempt to bring exact cash payments otherwise we will credit the dancer’s accounts for the following month.

Class Cards
- TIM Class card $60 for College students ONLY with a Valid College ID 10 classes, 11th class FREE plus registration fee. Class card valid for any Teen/ Adult class.
- TIM Class card for Adult Classes ONLY. $120.00 plus registration fee for 10 classes/11th class is FREE.
- Class cards NEVER EXPIRE!
Online Pay
Online pay is also offered or we may process your credit card on file at the front desk or via telephone. A $2.00 fee (for processing & fraud protection) will be added to the dance account.
NOTE: WHEN ENROLLING INTO CLASSES ONLINE AND CREDIT CARD INFORMATION IS ENTERED JACKRABBIT DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY PROCESS CREDIT CARD. IF YOU DESIRE CC TO BE PROCESSED EACH MONTH PLEASE CHOOSE EITHER 1ST OR 10TH OPTION.
TIM SCHOOL OF DANCE WILL PROCESS A CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD PAYMENT FOR MONTHLY TUITION WITH INFORMATION ON FILE FOR ALL PAST DUE DANCE ACCOUNTS NOT PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO THE 15TH OF EACH MONTH. TIM will issue a $25 late fee and a 2 Processing fee on the CC on file & cc will be processed for balance owed.
Very Important! Change in monthly tuition auto drafts for New & Current dance families that are set up for autopay for 1st or 10th. If the 1st or 10th falls on a weekend of holiday the payment will be processed on the previous business day for that month’s service.
Techniques In Motion ONLINE Payments: Each dance family may log into their own Jackrabbit customer portal on the T.I.M. Website www.techniquesinmotion.com to view and pay on dance account. Check spam folders if you do not receive email confirmation with password. Emails would be coming from Jackrabbit. Go to: www.techniquesinmotion.com, Click on “Pay Online”, Click “don’t know password”, Enter Email, Password will be sent to your email address on file from tbatson@bellsouth.com. May take 5-10 minutes. Go back to www.techniquesinmotion.com, Click on “Pay Online”, Enter email address & password and click “Sign on”, Click on “My Account”, Check Credit Card and enter info Click “SAVE”, Click on “Fees & Payments”. It will tell you how much you owe etc. Click on “Make Payment”, Enter Payment Amount and hit Submit. Email Confirmation will be sent to Ms. Terrie. $2.00 Processing fee will apply. We are also offering the option of reoccurring automatic payments If interested please contact Ms. Terrie with the following information: credit card info: Visa, Master Card, Acct number, Exp date, Name as it appears on card. Billed on the 1st or 10th of each month.
Discounts and Private Lessons
Tuition Discount options: *Pay August-May TUITION IN FULL by Labor Day and receive 10 % discount off total. *Pay 6 months TUITION IN FULL and receive 5% discount off total. If entire dance season has been paid in full and student withdraws from classes at any point thru the season the discount will not be refunded.
Private lessons: Each instructor sets their own prices hourly.
Late Fees
An absence is not an excuse for late payment. A $25 late fee will be applied to any tuition amount not paid in full by the 10th of each month. Late notices will be sent via email. If your account is more than 60 days past due, your child will be ineligible to participate in dance classes or any other studio activities until your account is in good standing. All tuition payments are considered late if not paid by the 10th of each month.
Withdrawal Policy
TIM School of Dance requires notification (email or signed withdrawal notice) if a dancer is withdrawing from any or all classes before the 1st of the month or their account will be charged for the month. Please visit Studio Withdrawal Policy.
