Monthly Tuition Payments & Fees

All checks or Money orders must be made payable to “Techniques In Motion School of Dance”. A stamp is provided at the front desk for your convenience. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. There is a $25.00 fee for returned checks and/or if the check is dishonored or returned for any reason.

Registration fee is non-refundable. No exceptions. Registration Fee ($32-CC / $30-Cash/Check) per student (Enroll between August-December), Registration fee per student ($27-CC / $25- Cash/Check) (Enroll between January-May). Summer Session June-July Registration fee: ($22-CC / $20- Cash/Check) per student

Registration fees include administrative costs, insurance, monthly newsletters, etc.

Tuition rates

“Carte Blanche” TUITION RATE UNLIMITED CLASSES EACH WEEK*: cost per month ($275-CC, Cash or Check NO Discount offered) to enroll in any and all recreational dance classes offered
1 hour 15-minute classes: ($70/ $67-Cash/Check) per month per element
1-hour classes: ($65-CC / $62-Cash/Check) per month per element
45-minute classes: ($60-CC / $57-Cash/Check) per month per element
30-minute classes: $55-CC / $52-Cash/Check) per month per element

Monthly Studio Tuition is due the first lesson of each month and is not prorated for missed lessons or for holiday closing or class attendance. Each tuition payment is the same regardless of the number of lessons each month. Whether we have a short month (3 weeks) or a long month (5 weeks), tuition remains the same. There are no adjustments, deductions for vacations or short months or missed lessons.
Monthly tuition reminders will be sent to all studio families via email. Statements will also be sent via email or regular mail to those past due accounts. If tuition is two months past due the student will not be allowed to participate in class until the account is paid in full. Payments may be mailed, deposited in the payment box located in the lobby or paid to the receptionist. Please indicate student’s name on the payment especially if dancer’s last name is not the same as the parents. Please attempt to bring exact cash payments otherwise we will credit the dancer’s accounts for the following month.

*Our online registration software does not recognize our Class Card option for Adults. If you prefer the Class Card to the monthly tuition, please email Ms. Terrie @ tbatson0105@gmail.com.

Class Cards

TIM Class card ($68-CC / $65- Cash/Check) for College students ONLY with a Valid College ID 10 classes, 11th class FREE plus registration fee. Class card valid for any Teen/ Adult class.
TIM Class card for Adult Classes ONLY. $($130-CC / $125- Cash/Check) plus registration fee for 10 classes/11th class is FREE.

Dear TIM Families,

We are always looking for ways to provide the best experience and flexible payment options for your tuition. Due to rising costs, we will no longer be using the Jackrabbit Payment Portal. We are unable to take your CC info from JR, for security reasons, so we need to have the info again to add to new system.

Moving forward, card payments will be accepted:

In person at the studio (tap, insert, or swipe). This WILL NOT set up your account in new system so we will need to receive CC info from you to be entered into the new system.
Through recurring auto-draft in our new payment system

As part of this transition:

NEW!!!! Families will need to visit our website TIM Credit Card Payments – Techniques In Motion to provide CC information to be entered into the new payment system.
Even if you plan to pay by cash or check, a card on file is required.

New Cash/Check Discount
Families who pay monthly by cash or check will now receive a discounted rate!

Discount applies at the time of payment.
Prorated tuition and unlimited capped tuition do not qualify for this discount.

Auto-Draft & Payment Process

Families on current Jackrabbit auto-draft (1st, 5th, 10th, or 15th) need to provide CC information to Ms. Terrie or receptionist prior to auto draft date. Once entered, your account will be enrolled in the new system for future monthly auto-drafts.
If not on auto-draft, please provide your card info to Ms. Terrie or receptionist so we may enter into the new system.

Important: Any unpaid tuition after the 20th of the month will be charged to the card on file with a $25 late fee.

Monthly Auto-Draft Options: 1st, 5th, 10th, or 15th
(If your date falls on a weekend or holiday, it will process the prior business day.)

Viewing Your Account Balance:
Families can still view their account through the Jackrabbit Parent Portal on our website:

Use “Don’t know password”to receive a reset email from Jackrabbit.
Log in to view balances, enrolled classes, notes, or update your dancer’s profile.

Private Lessons

Private lessons: Each instructor sets their own prices hourly. Please contact Ms. Terrie for private lessons and she will connect you to the appropriate instructor for the dancer’s needs.

Late Fees

An absence is not an excuse for late payment. A $25 late fee will be applied to any tuition amount not paid in full by the 10th of each month. Late notices will be sent via email. If your account is more than 60 days past due, your child will be ineligible to participate in dance classes or any other studio activities until your account is in good standing. All tuition payments are considered late if not paid by the 10th of each month.

Withdrawal Policy

TIM School of Dance requires notification (email or signed withdrawal notice) if a dancer is withdrawing from any or all classes before the 1st of the month or their account will be charged for the month. Please visit Studio Withdrawal Policy.
